Jim graduated from Fresno State University in 1988 with a degree in Physical Education, with an emphasis on Athletic Training. After college Jim moved to Santa Barbara where he worked for Dan Ribbens Construction for four years, then Solid Rock Construction for one year. Jim wanted to excel in finish carpentry, so he decided to start his company in pursuit of the finer side of woodworking. Jim seeks the latest technologies to improve his trade, and strives to have an efficient, hardworking crew. Jim enjoys other facets of carpentry including decorative marquetry, wrapping fishing rods, furniture making, and wood-turning.

Della graduated from Westmont College with a degree in Biology, and went on to become a registered nurse. After working at Cottage Hospital for a few years we started our family and Della stayed home to take care of our three boys. Della came to work with us part time in 2005. Her passion is working with her hands repairing and restoring antique furniture.
Jack is passionate about carpentry and enjoys problem solving to create an excellent finished product. He's been with JPCI for over 4 years now and loves working as a lead carpenter on our team. He and his wife Audrey are both lifelong athletes and enjoy spending time outdoors running, cycling, hiking, etc. A graduate of Westmont College, Jack originally wanted to become a physical therapist, but he is grateful he was re-routed to a career in construction. He's eager to try something new and help bring your vision to life on your next project.
Born and raised in norther Arizona Henry fallowed his family to Ventura 10 years ago and only recently made the move to Santa Barbara to fallow his passion of working in a skilled trade with his hands. After perusing jobs for BMW North America and as a heavy equipment mechanic Henry learned finish carpentry was in his blood thanks to his father who taught him how to work with tools from a young age and support and leadership form his coworkers here at Jim Peterson Construction. After a year at JPC he's learned much and is looks forward to learning even more while he balances his work life with his new marriage and passion for the out doors.
Jake graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in English, and began working for Jim Peterson Construction briefly in 2017 when he moved to Santa Barbara to marry his wife, Amanda. In 2019, Jake was thrilled to return from Big Sky, Montana to come back to work for Jim Peterson Construction for the long haul. Jake loves swinging a hammer almost as much as he loves casting a fly rod, and is grateful to be progressing in a craft he’s so passionate about.
Bryan is a currently a student at Westmont College, majoring in Business and Economics. He enjoys designing furniture, welding, and getting outdoors to dirt bike and hike. He has lived his whole life in Santa Barbara and enjoys working with Jim Peterson Construction because it allows him to see a new side of the city he loves.
Annette has worked in the construction industry as a business owner and bookkeeper for over 30 years. She has been a competitive outrigger paddler and dragon boat racer for 25 years competing in national and international races all over the world. She has two boys, one in real estate and the other is getting his masters degree in architecture.
Graduated in May of 2016 from Westmont College with a B.S. in Kinesiology. Reed was a pole vaulter on the Westmont Track & Field team. He enjoys dancing with friends, hiking, and working with youth at his church. He is very skillful and a quick learner. He also works part time for Elite Performance & Rehabilitation as a physical therapy aide and is pursuing graduate school in that field.
Jason graduates in 2018 from San Marcos High School. He Is a mid and long distant runner for the track and cross country team. He enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee, disc golf, and hanging out with his friends from church. He will be joining the Cross Country and Track Team at Westmont College for the Fall 2018 season. He will be majoring in Business.
